Dixie Toga, concerned about social well being, has been carrying out social and cultural projects aiming at providing the community with conditions of life quality.
Since the Group started actions of social responsibility, there has been a unanimous feeling of fulfillment at collaborating for a socially better Brazil.

Manufacturing Art it is the new project of social responsibility of the Dixie Toga
The project Manufacturing Art, new project sponsored for the Dixie Toga in 2009, has the objective to promote the social inclusion of adolescents in situation of risk by means of the art.
During this year, 800 young of the cities of Guarulhos, Votorantim, Londrina, Cambé, Curitiba, Paranaguá and Rondonópolis, will have chance sufficiently to develop its creativity during the workshops of histories in comics, producing a diversified material on subjects argued in the lessons.
In these workshops, the pupils will be able to acquire and to perfect the techniques of lessons of drawing, writing, aesthetic and necessary harmony, abilities for the confection of the little comics. At the end of the year, the 800 young will participate of a competition, and the 10 better comics will be awardees. Moreover, a comic book will be printed with all histories written for the participants, which will be distributed for our employees and customers.

New project will benefit children and adolescents with cancer
The Recycle it For a Better Life is a program of selective collection implanted in the Dixie Toga in 2000, in which all the mount of money collected with the sales of the materials recycled collected in the company is directed for accomplishment of social workmanships.
In the last nine years, the program contributed for improvements in day-care centers, schools, shelters and asylums of the communities next to the units manufacter to the DT. Such actions had contributed not only for the preservation of our planet by means of the selective collection and recycling of materials, as well as comes contributing for the social and educational development of the country.
Currently, the value of the collections is being invested in the construction of the new headquarters of the ONG Viver, located in Londrina. The project of the DT in partnership with the Institute Ronald McDonald will be the new house of support for children and adolescents with cancer who are in treatment in the ICL - Institute of the Cancer of Londrina. The inauguration of the workmanship is foreseen for May of 2009.

Action Citizen takes services of health and citizenship to the community
Dixie Toga began the cycle of health and citizenship groups, that will be carried through in its Units periodically. The first event occurred in Paranaguá and offered gratuitously, to the local community, services as: preventive examinations of health, vaccination, cut of hair, attendance of procon and public defend, register in the programs of the government, document emission and recreation for the children.
The Action Citizen is one of the actions promoted for the voluntary employees of the Goodness Talents program, who act since the planning until the concretion of the activities, always in partnership with the DT, the public power and representatives of the private initiative.
